The family of farms work together, each specialising in their own area, working with different types of ground, but sharing the same ethos. Core to the activities on all farms is the ability to breed pedigree, performance recorded cattle that deliver commercial success.

Pure Highland herd with pure calves & XShorthorn calves
Killochries Fold is run by Iain & Sheena Graham. Killochries breeds world-class Highlanders, due to years of careful genetical selection, producing champions in the ring, fabulous breeding cows, and exceptional beef enjoyed at the top UK restaurants, including Gleneagles. Semen is exported worldwide from France to New Zealand and Austria to America.

Balgay Farm specialises in Angus and Shorthorn. With state-of-the-art facilities, a highly exerienced team and a close focus on genetics and HiHealth, Balgay delivers outstanding results.
The farm itself comprises 1000 acres, based on the famous Carse of Gowrie in some of Scotland's most fertile land. Generations have farmed here but today, Balgay represents a model of modern farming with major investment in drainage, grassland management, soil composition, facilities and equipment. Most importantly, the team that run Balgay are experienced and committed to the highest standards of animal welfare, breeding cattle that deliver outstanding results.
Pure Highland herd with XShorthorn calves
The pedigree Highland herd (originally from Killochries Fold) runs with our Shorthorn stock bull, Dambuster. Dambuster is son of Chapelton Braveheart, champion of the Perth Bull sales and the Highland show. We sell XShorthorn calves direct from the croft. These calves produce the hardiness of the Highlander combined with the size of the Shorthorn. Our colleagues at Balgay call them the 'teddy bears'.
